My career to this point has revolved around mental health. I have a BA in Family Studies from Weber State University, and a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma Washington. I have worked in residential treatment centers for 15 years, first as a staff and later as a therapist/ director. I have worked with people with disabilities, homeless youth, women in recovery, and children. I have lived and worked in this field in Washington, Virginia, and Utah. I love hiking, camping, and singing, and am an avid audiobook listener. I am excited to get to know the students at BYU and help them be more career ready.
