Prior to working at BYU, Andrew has worked in a variety of educational institutions and positions, including a high school English teacher, creative writing teacher, academic advisor, and student success manager. As a high school English teacher, Andrew had an opportunity to teach each grade level and work at three different high schools both in Utah and Arizona. Andrew earned a BA in English Teaching with a minor in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL K-12) from BYU and an M. Ed in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Higher Education from Northern Arizona University. He is currently enrolled in his final coursework to earn a graduate certificate in Academic Advising from Kansas State University. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, playing and collecting trading card games, watching movies, and spending time with his four kids.
