Exploring the Major

Why should you study Human Development?

The Human Development major provides students with a lifespan perspective on human development within the context of family and community. It focuses on understanding how individuals change and grow across their lives, exploring biological, cognitive, emotional, and social development. The major also emphasizes research and practical applications, preparing students for careers in various settings or further graduate studies.
